Hi, My name is Eric Moyers. I am a Network Support Engineer in the Cisco Small Business Support Center. Thank you for using the Cisco Community Post Forums.

It looks like you pulled the bin file out of the tar file you downloaded. Please try to do the upgrade with the tar file. I believe that is what the WAP is looking for.

Let me know how that goes.

Thanks

Thank you Eric. Problem solved.

It was natural for me to unzip the file. No direct note can be found in the manual either.

Your Welcome. I have done the same thing before. I will send a note to the Documentation folks to make a suggestion that they include that info in the next update.

Please let us know if we can ever be of assistance again.

Eric
