Hi,
I get the message "Firmware upgrade has failed. Please ensure that valid entries were specified in the required fields." when I try upgrade the firmware
rootfs.bin over http/https. Someone an idea?
I have downloaded the release 1.0.2.3 and 1.0.1.10 from
My hardware:
WAP121-E-K9 V01
Firmware Version: 1.0.0.3

It looks like you pulled the bin file out of the tar file you downloaded. Please try to do the upgrade with the tar file. I believe that is what the WAP is looking for.

Thank you Eric. Problem solved.
It was natural for me to unzip the file. No direct note can be found in the manual either.

Your Welcome. I have done the same thing before. I will send a note to the Documentation folks to make a suggestion that they include that info in the next update.
