I am installing a WAP321 that I'm having a tough time with getting LAN access to work. Does this device require a special cable when connecting directly to a non POE switch?
I can get the device to work with a seperate power adapter and connect to my local LAN with a normal patch cable.
I can get the device to work when I connect to POE when the device is connected to a downstream switch away from our main Cisco switch and using a inline POE.
I can get the device to work on a downstream cisco switch that has a POE port and just directly plug into it with a patch cable.
I can not get the device to work when using a inline POE and connecting directly to our company switch. I have tried this on several different switches with different cables and inline POE adapters. This has me baffeled.
Any help here? I'm using regular patch cables.
Thanks in Advance
