I have deployed a distributed lwapp wlan solution across 5 locations, which consists of a WISM and 5 3750+wlc a WCS and 180 odd AP,s (most of them 1240AG

WLC's are all running 4.0.179.11 software.

I have Ap authorization enabled on all of them, when i reboot none of the Ap's (with MIC"s) will reassociate to the controllers until i turn of AP authorization.

Any Thoughts?

thanx in advance

Frans,

What type of AAA server are you using? This could be an issue of misconfigurtion. On the AAA server you will need to supply the mac address of the AP as the username and password. Also, you will need to know the format that is being used on the AAA so that you can match it, from the Security tab.

HTH,
Steve

I wasn't aware they had to be authorized against AAA, where i import ssc hashes for older ap's, i just figured the mic's would authorize in sort of the same way, without having to import.

How would i go about configuring this, haven't found anything configurable trough WCS.
