I have a 1242 AP, it gets its IP address from a DHCP server.
Is it possible to get the IP address of 1242 the through the console interface?

you want to know the IP your 1242 got from the DHCP server? Console in and do "show ip int brief"

I get :
Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status Protocol
BVI1 unassigned YES DHCP up up
Dot11Radio0 unassigned YES NVRAM up up
Dot11Radio1 unassigned YES NVRAM administratively down down
FastEthernet0 unassigned YES NVRAM up up
Looks like IP unassigned, that's not what DHCP server says, it has mac address IP and lease
I have digging to do.

Do "show int BVI1", verify mac address matches the lease. Maybe someone else got it. Check first 3 bytes of the mac on the coffer.com to see the vendor of the mac

IOS reported mac address matches dhcp and AP sticker.
Thanks for the help Roman, I must run home now.
