Hello,
I understands cisco 1262n can support up to six antenna. The supplier suggests three 2.4G AIR-ANT2422DG-R antenna and three 5G AIR-ANT5135DG-R antenna for one AP. I'm wondering whether this AP needs all six antenna so it can work? or how many antenna it requires to work minimum?

You might as well go with the 1140 APs with built in antennas. You can either go with the 1141 (802.11b/g/n) or the 1142 (902.11a/b/g/n). Depends on how many users. You can probably get by with 2 or 3.

The minimum is one on each radio and the basic dipole would work. However, why would you just use one? It kind of defeats the purpose of the multiple tx and rx, beam forming and the use of diversity. Performance is better when you use all 6.

I read data sheet of 1261n and 1262n. It seems 1262n only add the support to 802.11a, but we don't have 802.11a client. Shall we choose 1261n?.
It is a 100m x 50m open area office. There is no distinct obstacles. We are going to use wlc4402. How many AP will you suggest, considering basic radio redundancy?
