1400 Bridging

Hello, Experts!

1400 point-to-multipoint bridging here...

HQ uses the omni antenna (AIR-ANT58G9VOA-N)

Sites A,B,C use the sector antenna (AIR-ANT58G10SSA-N)

LOS is verified among sites.

Antenna power are set to max, except for Site A, which is set to level 18

The problems:

- when ch 149 is used, only sites B and C are working. site A connects but not stable. lotsa RTO's here....

- when ch 161 is used, only sites A and B are working. and C won't connect.

- Strange, but site C only responds to ch 149 and not the rest of the channels.

- Site A responds to ch's 153, 157 and 161 but unstable with ch 149.

- Or, as I observed it, whenever Site C is connected, site A is unstable or won't connect at all.

Played with the power levels a bit and am unable to get the exact value combination where all 3 remotes sites can work altogether.

Any light at the end of this tunnel, is surely appreciated!

Hello,

Without looking at the configuration, what I can recommend you is to try the following:
- The "distance" command on the root bridge (in km). In your case it would be 3.
- The data rates set for best range; use the "speed range" command on the radio interface

if these recommendations don't work then get the output from the show tech command to verify the configuration and the quality of the link. If everything is properly configure and you are running the latest software code already then there is nothing else to do other than troubleshoot the RF issue itself by finding the sources of interference near the antennas, making sure that the LOS is clear as well as the Fresnel zone, verifying the quality of the cabling, connectors etc. Or just perform a professional site survey to let you know all of this information.
