What is the issue you are facing?

Hi Patoberli,

good day!

login portal is not reachable using Chrome on Android Mobile phones.

Thank you.

Rey John Mamaril.

Hi Patoberli.

Thank you for the information but the issue we encounter is only a local authentication on WLC using customized webpage (webauth bundle). It was working before and maybe the reason why it is not working now is maybe because of the chrome update. I am still looking for a documentation with regards to chrome update related to WLC web authentication.

Regards.

Could be. What is the exact error message you get in Chrome? Do you maybe have a screenshot of the message?

Hi Patoberli,

Please see attached error message from webauth. Thank you.

Thanks.

Ok, first of all, change the ip address, 1.1.1.1 is by now an internet routable address, please use 10.100.1.1 (for example)

I can see that you don't use SSL (https), which is excluding possible certificate issues.

Can you access this site: http://1.1.1.1/login.html ?

If you install Firefox on the mobile phone, does it work with that?

Hi Patoberli,

do you mean, should I change the virtual IP or manually keyin the ip on web browser?

Thank you.

In a maintenance window you should change the virtual IP. But this will cause some interruptions.

Don't do this until the main problem with Chrome is solved.

Hi Patoberli,

after configuration change, web auth didn't work at all. regards.

What is your issue exactly?  Are you getting the "405 method not allowed" error?
