2802i AP also running as controller not broadcasting the SSID

I am installing the 2802i APs in mobility express. However, the AP is not broadcasting the SSID.  Attached are the running configs of the device. Any help will be appreciated.

can you login (web GUI)to AP/WLC via its management IP ? If yes then chekc if you created a ssid and is it enabled or not ?

I later noticed that the problem was due to the use of POE switches instead of POE+ switches. Therefore, limited power supply to the APs was the main challenge.

Is there any cisco document which conform that this model required a POE+ and do not support POE

Hi Tarun,
Checking through the datasheet, you will quickly notice that the power requirement for the 2802i is as below:
● 802.3at PoE+, Cisco Universal PoE (Cisco UPOE ®)
● 802.3at power injector (AIR-PWRINJ6=)

Anything less than POE+ will boot the AP but in power saving mode, with broadcast of the SSID one of the features disabled.

Beyond this observation, I don’t have any document to share with you.
