Hi folks,
I've been reading that the 350 series bridges are not compatible with the old 340's. Is this true?
I have a network link with a 350 and a 340...they work...but not very well. The compatibility issue is true ?
Thank you.
Francisco.

Yes, that is correct. They are not compatible. See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps458/prod_release_note09186a0080150974.html#55650

the 340 series bridge uses the standard spanning tree protocol on the wired (Ethernet) side, but not so on the wireless porting (radio).
the 350 series bridge DOES use the standard spanning tree on both the wired and wireless side, and so that causes a conflict between the two units, if you dissable the STP on both radios you could have a steadier link, however it is not a Cisco-supported configuration as I understand it.
