I have a 350 with the latest IOS release installed. Occasionally the AP locks up. I cannot access the internal web configuration, ssh, telnet, or ping, but snmp appears to continue to function for some time. The radio is on a tower, so I can't access the management port. There are about 20 occasional use clients on this and it isn't showing heavy CPU usage. I think I made a mistake switching from VXworks to IOS in this case.
Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know if a remote reboot is possible via snmp?

I also have a 305 series AP that I upgraded for VX Works. Ever since the upgrade it locks up about twice a week. I can uplug the power and plug it back in and then it works. Has anyone been able to resolve this yet?

It is tough to say what the problem is. It may be high CPU, memory leak (i.e. running out of memory), or even crash. Can you telnet to the AP350 after it locks up?

You have to console attach to the 350s when they are locking up. Then, do a show tech. If you run out of memory, you should receive an error message complaining not enough memory for a vty session.
From show tech, look for show process CPU and show memory. Please post show process cpu and show memory. If you open a TAC SR, please attach the show tech.

We had the same issue but then upgraded the 350's to 12.2(15) XR1 and everything is great. Cisco found a bug where the ethernet int shuts down. Why do we always find out the hard way!

Thanx, I have been troubleshooting this from an off site location. The users were telling me they could not access the network. I was on site today and was attempting to upgrade the IOS when I noticed I could not get to the AP. Amazinigly the problem was happenig while I was there. I did notice that I could associate but could not ping outside of the AP. So yes the Ethernet interface was not working. I have reset the AP and upgraded the firmware, hopefully this will take care of the problem.
Thanx for your post's.
