Hey guys,
I'm looking at replacing the terrible DSL (1.5Mb/s) with 4G at my parent's place in rural France, I've got my old 1941 ISR with a 4G-LTE ehwic... I've tested the setup here in Belgium with the SIM from my cell and my config works just fine, I just have one question... I've read in the datasheet that 2x2 MIMO is supported by this card, however information / knowledge is a bit scarce online.
It looks like the antenna marked '0' is being used, but the one marked '1' doesn't appear to effect anything whether plugged in or not, this leads me to believe MIMO is not working. I'm assuming this requires some additional configuration but I can't find any guides.
If anyone can help that would be much appreciated!

Can you post an output for show cellular 0/0/0 all, check the Current RSSI(RSCP) =-XX
Assuming you have very good Meanwhile you can also configure "cell 0/0/0 lte technology UMTS or lte" to make sure that the higher speed protocols are always preferred. This will make sure that gsm is always ignored.

As per the Data sheet MIMO is supported, but I believe since MIMO is a component of 4G technology itself doesn't require any additional configuration. That being said what you are looking at in the configuration is the interfaces attached to each Cellular EHWIC card, some cards come with dual sim card. Each sim card maps to single cellular interface. It doesnt relate anyway to MIMO

Thanks for your response...
This EHWIC only has a single SIM card slot, but has 3 cell interfaces.
Do you happen to know why?
Cellular0/0/0 100.97.222.162 YES IPCP up up Cellular0/0/1 unassigned YES unset down down CellNMEA0/0/5 unassigned YES unset down down
Thanks
