Hi,
I am setting up a 5508 HA. Is there any place I can get an example of the configuration? I am confused about the addresses that need to be configured.
Also, can I locate the Primary and the Secondary in two different locations, as long as they are reachable? I have a colocation that is less then 30ms from the office. Can the Redundancy ports be routed to eachother?
Thanks,
Scott

Can't be routed and should really be located in the same location.

Here is the deployment guide:

Yes You can but make sure they are connected with redudent port(Layer 2 connectivity). If your remote brach is in another city or in another country then its not possible.
Check the HA Question and Answer here:

Not possible unless you bridge the VLANs. The redundancy ports of the 5508 has to be physcially connected.
