Hi,
From what I've read, it doesn't seem possible to use Web Authentication and obtain encryption unless using a Radius server.
I have a client asking for web auth, encryption, and ldap connection to their AD servers.
Not possible, right?
Thanks.

ahh, no. Encryption happens at layer 2. So you would need to configure the WLAN for EAP to be able to use the LDAP and get encryption.
With just webauth, you can use LDAP for the user/pass but you won't get encryption.

Thanks. I stated the question in misleading fashion.
I understand I can use both L2 and L3 authentication, so my question was intended to read:
If I only use Layer 3 authentication, can I get web auth, encryption, and ldap connection to their AD servers.

Thanks. That's what I had understood, but it's good to hear a confirmation.
