Hi,
I developed a Wlan with 7920. At the moment these ip-phone work with open authentication becouse if I use LEAP I have intermittent pause of silence during the conversation. But I noted also a ip traffic from all the phone to ip address 192.168.0.1 port (2000). This port is the port used to access at the callmanager. I'm sure that this ip address is not configured on phone. Did some one experience this issue?

Port 2000 is the port used by SCCP (skinny). For LEAP should only hear gaps when roaming, which should only be up to 300ms. May also have session timeout causing reauthentication as well.

Ok for the port 2000 that is used by SCCP but the question is :" Why do I have this traffic to a callmanager that I haven't configured?". For the LEAP problem there is a case open becouse the issue is not only during the roaming.

So if there is not a TFTP response, either due the server not being available or not pushing option 150 or 66 in the DHCP scope, then any IP phone will try to register to the default gateway (SRST). This also goes for when there is a TFTP response, but unable to connect to the CallManager. Also if you have a DNS entry for CiscoCM1 it will try that as last result as well.

The class of addresses 192.168.0.0/16 is not present on my network. I haven't any default gateway , TFTP and so on with this address. The phones don't try to connect at this address at the beginning of the registration but during the normal atcivity( when they are already registered at the correct callmanager ) every 2 o 3 minutes.

So you are using DHCP and this address isn't listed anywhere in the current config page?
Also FYI, always need to specify a default gateway even if it doesn't exist.
Also the USB interface uses this network too, but wouldn't be for SCCP.

I don't use DHCP the address is static and there is a default gateway.
Yes, these address is that of the USB and is strange the the phone use this one to make a connection on port 2000.

Well if you are that concerned about it, open a case w/ TAC so they can look at the sniffer trace, but the phone will only over try to create TCP connection to CM, gateway, TFTP in current config or CiscoCM1 for last resort.
