The 7920 will learn the channels via active scans. So if you only use 6 and 11 for your voice network (different ssid), then will only scan 6 and 11 more frequently than other channels. Would need to ensure that there is overlapping coverage of these channels so it starts to scan each more frequently after power on.
Also 7920 likes non-overlapping channels only as this is how it gives prioritization for scanning since it's power management enabled (i.e. 1,6,11).
FYI...FHSS means frequency hopping. So although it may be on 1 now it could change later.
