Correct. On releases 8.1 and lower, the channel was blocked for reuse for 30 min, as per DFS regulatory requirements

on releases 8.2 and higher, if the channel gets repeated DFS triggers, it will be blocked longer, to avoid using it on DCA channel assignament

With this command, you can disable the new behavior, and the WLC will work as in 8.1 DFS mechanism
