I try get all benefits of 802.11n with 1262N in standalone mode (12.4(25d)JA)
But I see the next
Settings for int dot11radio1 is the next
speed basic-54.0 m0. m1. m2. m3. m4. m5. m6. m7. m8. m9. m10. m11. m12. m13. m14. m15.
channel width 40-above
channel 5300
station-role root
All antennas are active, wmm is active
But I get only about 2MB/s by ftp
For test I use the next scheme
Client-Win7(Linksys ae2500)(vlanA) == R1:1262N:Gi0 == Gi:SW:Gi == Gi:(vlanA):FtpServer
On the same stand I get about 6MB/s with 5Ghz and channel width 20MHz
In all attempts was only one client and the clean environment, i proved it with a spectrum-analyzer
Tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.
Client associated with next parameters:
5@40:
----
Key Mgmt type : WPAv2 PSK
Encryption : AES-CCMP
Current Rate : m15.
Capability : WMM 11h
Supported Rates : 54.0 m0. m1. m2. m3. m4. m5. m6. m7. m8. m9. m10. m11. m12. m13. m14. m15
Bandwidth : 40 MHz
5@20
---
And the same, but bandwidth is 20 MHz

Eugene,
What is your baseline with a wired pc doing the same test on vlan A?

The supported rates is not important. Those are for a/b/g. What you have to verify is if High Throughput(HT) is enabled with the MCS rates 0-7 for clients and 8-15 for AP.

Scott,
with a wired pc I get 20-25MB/s
ftp:gi - sw - gi:notebook and ftp:gi - gi:notebook

Have you tried different client for testing?

Eugene,
What guard interval is set, 400ns or 800ns or only 800ns? 400ns ensures higher throughput than 800ns.
To be sure, enter the command
interface dot11radio 1 --------- 5GHz n radio
guard interval any

Сolleagues, the problem with the adapter.
Dlink dwa-160 rev A2 managed to get about 11MB/s
AE2500 is still not working as it should be.
Surprised that Linksys is such a bad product.
May be possible to configure the adapter,
but after all that time that I spent I very doubt.
Thanks all for replies

Eugene,
It is always a good idea to baseline from the wired side, so you can get an idea of the actual throughput from the devices you are using, and you can figure out the percentage of actual throughput if the ftp was connected to a 100mbps or 1000mbps connection. Using multiple adapter as a test is also good, because each one has it good and bad. At least you were able to see that in your testing.
