802.1x flexconnect wlan issues

Hi All.

We have this strange wifi issue with 802.1x-flexconnect(switch vlan breakout) on vwlc(and wlc 5520) and 2802i

everything looks fine, authentication works fine.

APs er registered in controller and work fine

but often client looses network access, internet stops working, sometime it looses authentication alltogether and connection drops. then the client need to forget ssid and reauthenticate but sometime it just takes time and connection comes back..

this often happens when roaming and more often when roaming between floors(signal leaks through)

this is confirmed with both mac, windows and android client devices.

there is no particular timeframe when the issue occures and it happens at different times for different users/devices.

"LOCAL" tunnel works fine all the time.

vWLC/AP code 8.5.140

STAR LAN infrastructure:

DELL as "core"

cisco as access towards APs

dot1x auth is a AP->NPS->NPS/Active Directory

we have reset all APs to default and check all setup without finding anyting.

any help on how to troubleshoot this would be helpfull

On the WLC enter:

debug client heretheclientsmacaddress

And then walk around with the client while the debug is running. If the problem appears again, please post the result of the debug here.
