Hello I upgraded a 9130 AXI EWC from 16.12.8 to 17.12.1 and now is not working. I searched a lot on how to fix it or downgrade with any success, please if someone can help me it will be highly appreciated.

I'm having the following errors / issues:

1. failed to initialize NVRAM

We see this message related to Bug. I would recommend you to downgrade it or at least change to a different version.

@luismtz7433 try to do reimage with previous version. this can be a Bug on version. also try to get TAC help

I am going to suspect this is due to someone failed to RTFM.

Yep going direct from 16.12.8 to 17.12.1 was a recipe for disaster!

Suggest you follow https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9120axi-access-point/217537-repairing-c9120-c9115-access-points-from.html to recover access.  That will re-image it back to 8.10.130.0 CAPWAP image.
Then upgrade it to 8.10.185.0 CAPWAP image.  https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323627/type/286288051/release/15.3.3-JK9
Then you should be able to safely upgrade to a 17.6.5 CAPWAP image. https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323627/type/286288051/release/15.3.3-JPK6
Then do the EWC conversion to 17.12.1. https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323627/type/286323077/release/17.12.1

Like Leo says - always read the release notes carefully before starting an upgrade.
