AC140 - All APs seems to reboot every 5 minutes after software update

Hello,

We have 5 AC140 APs with one declared master.
We tried to update the system version to the last available one and everything seems to went well.

After master AP reboot, the new version is correctly in place but we one major issue : all other APs joins the master for about 5 minutes and then disconnects, like they are rebooting.

A strange thing is that during the day, the master AP changed from AP #5 to AP #3. Regardless of the number of the AP, if it is "Master", it keeps up and all the other reboots every 5 minutes.

During thos 5 minutes, the APs are correctly attached to the master and I can access their configuration and data.

The logs on the webui shows that the other AP disconnects. If we look for APs version on Monitoring > Access Points, they all seems to be up to date.

I have no idea what to do to solve this issue. I tried to factory reset one of the AP from the webui (when it is attached) but this doesn't seems to solve the issue.

I can't factory reset them with a paperclip at the moment but will try to do that.

Do you have any idea of what could cause this issue ?

Hello, just an update :
We had to reset all APs and recreate everything from scratch.

An update :
After several testings, I found that every APs works correctly when it is alone on the network. It become Master and works as expected.

But... if we had the other APs, they boot, start to join the master then stops working.

Presume you are referring to Business 140AC Access Point?
Confirm you're running latest software version 10.8.1.0?
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286324956/type/286325362/release/10.8.1.0
If it's already using that release then suggest to contact support as per the release notes:
