i have Access point 1702I-E-K9  and i want to know if this AP  can be WLC at the same time  or can work with WLC  cisco  hardware !!!

i send a picture  that show AP !

so i wait  from expert  wireless  answer me !

But i don't find  cisco air-cap1702i-e-k9 in the document !!  so how i can find what's the controller can work with  this AP !!!

so please , can you confirm me that AP can only work with wlc !!!

 - Look for 1702I  only with your browser  in the page, results will be 'sufficient' and valid too.

Only Cheetah-based APs can become controllers, called Mobility Express.

No.

It can work either as autonomous ap or as lightweight AP (need separate wlc to make it work.)
