What exactly are you trying to achieve? Are you wanting a bridge link between two sites or are you expecting a client to connect to an AP 30km away?!
You can theoretically get a link to operate over 40km using a dish antenna but you must have line of sight and be free of RFI to get that far, it would be 1MB data rate at that range. If your intention is for a site to site link with wireless clients at each site I would use a 1310 bridge with dish antenna at each site and one (or more) 1242 AP's at each site for clients.

Hey there,
In addition to Andrew's comments.
It is possible to link Cisco bridge models AIR-BR1310s or AIR-BR1410s at great distances.
30km away would need very accurate antenna alignment and proper site survey.
High gain dish antenna would be needed and both of the above models are outdoor rated and can have connections for external antennas.
Hope this helps.

Aaron
