Hello, I would like to add a WLC on GNS3, but I come across a message that says I need a license to be able to download. Is it possible to get it for free? If yes, how ?

The message :

To Download this software, you must have a valid service contract associated to your Cisco.com profile.
If you do not have a service contract you can get one through:
Your Cisco Account Team if you have a direct purchase agreement with Cisco Your Cisco Partner or Reseller Once you have the service contract you must associate your service contract to your Cisco.com user ID with Profile Manager

The best way to get the licenses is that you ask your Cisco SE/Reseller or partner to provide you with POC licenses and publish the image to your Cisco ID. Otherwise without a valid Cisco contract you will not be able to download the software.

If you can download a virtual WLC you can run it in a vmware workstation or esxi and then integrate with GNS3. The same we need to do with ASR1000, for example.
