AIR-AP1815T-E-K9 keeps enabling personal SSID "Cisco-HomeWifi-Fxxx"

Hello,

since the last Upgrade of our WLC (C9800-L-F-K9) to 17.6.4 I have the issue that almost all of our Office Extended APs are enabling the Personal SSID which is configured by default.
I disabled them then in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Radio but they keep coming back online.

Did anyone run into the same issue? Does anyone have a suggestion?

 - Start with a checkup review of the C9800-L-F-K9 configuration with the CLI command show tech wireless  ; have the output analyzed with :
                                               https://cway.cisco.com/wireless-config-analyzer/

Hi,

appreciate your reply. I did not now about this tool until now.
I found out that there is the Provisioning SSID is enabled in the AP Join Profile..
I deactivated this option and voila no more Cisco-HomeWiFi SSID

not that we aware, before upgrade have you taken the backup of the config ? if so take the backup of new after upgrade and compare.

also use config analyser.
