AIR-CT5520-K9 motorola/Xiaomi

greetings,

After the upgrade (Software Versión: 8.10.130.0), there are problems to connect Motorola and Xiaomi (android 10). These phones don't get IP addresses and have problems with the mosts of networks.

Someone has had a similar behavior?

Thanks,

Few things that should always take place prior to an upgrade:
Test and validate everything is working prior to upgrading in prod
Export the config prior to an upgrade
Run a diff after the upgrade to see if any values have changed (things do change and can break things)
Remediate any issues from the diff or accept the diff as your new standard
Roll back if you run into issues and open a TAC case
Have you searched the bug toolkit or the forums? There have been some threads on devices after upgrading that might help.

Check your SSID configuration and make sure that 802.1X-SHA2 under Security -> Layer 2 is disabled. That option got enabled for me when I upgraded to 8.10.130.0 and caused the same issue (also Intel laptops were unable to connect in my case).

Extremely difficult to do anything without any useful information:

  • Have you done a debug of the client?
  • What error messages are forming up?

NOTE:  Currently using 8.10.130.0 and I do not see any issues with different clients (including Xiaomi).
