Hello there.

 

I have this access point  AIR-LAP1262N-A-K9, and it is autonomous and i want to convert in lightweight but i can not find the ios. Please how can i download anywhere ?

this AP is too old to download OS from cisco. what is the file name of current OS in AP?

You should ask your supplier from where you bought this AP.

I don't have any contact with supplier. So i cant talk with him, i just want a firmware to convert in lightweight from autonomous. If have anyone please send to me.

This AP already have Lightweight image(K9W8).

Yes but it should open with GUI, because when i try to open with GUI appear this error

If you want to use it a standalone AP then you need to convert it to Autonomous mode and then you can configure it via GUI or cli.

blog to identify exact file required for AP. as i noticed you can use 3500 AP IOS file which is ready available in cisco site.

you can try that file. but causes, i cannot guarantee file will support to 1260 also. i am guessing since both file names are same.

There was a site with a list of old IOS ready to donwlad,http://tfr.org/cisco-ios/wireless/... but it no longer works... if you find out where there is another one, let me know
