I am experiencing a problem at a couple of customer sites. I have the WLC configured to point to a Microsoft DHCP server. Periodically, all of the clients will be unable to obtain a DHCP address. Currently, the only fix I have been able to come up with is to reboot the WLC. Obviously, this is not the desired solution. Has anybody experienced this problem and been able to permanently fix it?

We are still staying in 4.0.155.5 and we do not have the DHCP problem and we did not modify any WISM dhcp proxy settings. We wanted to go for the latest version but are just waiting for the fix for this bug...

Same problem...Running WiSM with 4.0.206.0, Sup720 12.2(18)SXF5, client: Win XP, Intel ProSet/Wireless with 10.1.1.3 OEM software and Windows 2000 DHCP Server.
DHCP fails about half the time. "config dhcp proxy disable" does not work. "debug dhcp message enable" does not display info when client is failing, but does display about 50 lines when connecting successfully.

It is very frustrating that such a serious bug can stay unsolved for so long(from july last year until now). Can anyone from cisco give a answer when it can be fixed?
Thanks
