Aironet 340 PCMCIA card talking to a Linksys WAP11

I am tring to get my 340 card to talk to my Linksys WAP11 at home. It works fine with WEP turned off, but when I configure 40 or 128 bit WEP the system fails to pull a IP address. Has anybody configured this card to work with the WAP11 using WEP? If so, what were the settings on both devices to get it to work?

You need a 341 card for 40 bit and 342 card for 128 bit WEP. The 340 does not have encryption capability.

I have the 342 card and am doing 128 bit WEP at work. I do not need the over head of 128 at home, so I want to do 40.

All you should need to do is create a new profile on the cisco ACU, and enter the new 40 (64) bit key. On the Linksys select 64 bit in the pull down window, and enter the same key. Be sure you know if the software wants Alpha or Hex entrys for the keys. I think the Linksys is in HEX (0-9 a-f).
