Hi
maybe someone knows when TKIP and MIC will be supported on Linux ?
all i can found states " Firmware 4.25.30 supports TKIP and MIC but the current Linux driver doesn`t !"
Is there any possibility to merge the drivers from airo-linux.sourceforge.net with the cisco provided drivers (rfmon mode from airo-linux + maybe TKIP from cisco driver) ?
Some other issue, will there be any Win3k driver for the aironet 350 cards that support rfmon and are libpcap compatible ? (sniffing with ethereal)
I know there is a driver from wildpackets but I don`t know if i could use all security features ( TKIP, LEAP, MIC, PEAP) if I use the wildpackets driver cause this driver replaces some files from the original cisco driver !
kind regards
Michael

The Linux driver will run on most distributions, and kernels 2.2.x and 2.4.x are supported. While there is a precompiled driver for RedHat 7.1 running kernel 2.4.2-2, the source is included so that binaries can be compiled under any of the supported kernels. We recommend PCMCIA-CS version 3.1.22 or later for 340 series clients, and 3.1.26 or later for 350 series clients. For more informatiopn on this you can go to wirless troubleshooting centre in the following URL:
