aironet air-1815W-B-K9 site survey

I have just receive my first air-1815W and wish to perform a site survey tomorrow.  As I have read, I need a console cable to set the AP to site survey mode.

What can I do tomorrow to use the AIR-1815W to test a site or a site survey?

Although I heard about this limited version of IOS for site survey porpuse I don't see why to use it. You can do site survey with a normal IOS just fine.

The ap is not able to start until an iOS is installed.  I do not have a controller yet so need to have the iOS loaded some way.  Suggestion?

How do I load the IOS on the AP1815W?

Currently Cisco is working with mobility Express and not with IOS anymore. You can confirm with software do you have by issuing show version command.

I really have another question and hope someone can help.  I plan to use AIROnet ap1815i with a WLC2504 and an SG300-28pp switch.  Are there any issues?
