Antenna x access points

Can I use any antenna in any Access Point, worrying just witch the conectors.

ex: Can i use a antenna cisco AIR-ANT2506 ( dBi Mast Mount Omnidirectional) in Access Point 1242 to make covering of clients ? In the site of CISCO this antena is indicated to bridge.

Electrically, any of the WiFi antennas will work fine on any of the access points.

From a practical standpoint, there may be a few issues, but if it's got the right connector, you should have no problem.

Im using the AP-1242 with an antenna 2506, and is functionally good.

I have 8 APs working with it antenna althought i'm thinking install other antennas more with it aps
