Any tool which will help me for heat map generation?

You can also use Cisco Prime Infrastructure to generate existing AP heat maps or use Planning Mode to calculate the recommended number and location of access points based on whether data and/or voice traffic and/or location are active.

There are some non-Cisco tools available such as Ekahau, AirMagnet etc.

I got with Prime if you have large deployment, or you can do with Ekahau (nice tool)

Hi Mate

If you have Prime Infrastructure you can use it to generate estimate heatmaps based on how the APs are hearing each other so its not 100% accurate.

If your trying to do heat maps for a new design check out Ekahau Site Survey this is also good to do a post implementation survey to give you a true representation of the coverage. It will also produce a nice heap map for reporting.
