Hi,
We use Cisco AnyConnect (4.2.01035) on our desktop build to connect to our systems via VPN. The AnyConnect works great.
However, we use Dell KACE to distribute scripts/patches/software. The issue we are experiencing is with Laptop users. When they are connected to the network via a standard Ethernet cable, KACE will "inventory" their device and takes not of the IP Address among many things. If the user subsequently disconnects from the network and then forms a connection using wifi and VPN, obviously their IP Address changes. Every 6 hours or so, their device will try to inventory again, and the new IP will be associated within KACE. Until this takes, ie KACE having the correct IP Address, the system will not receive any software/patches/scripts/fixes etc.
Is there some setting within AnyConnect that would allow me to run a batch file which would force this inventory to happen when AnyConnect switches from standard wired Ethernet to wifi and VPN?
Thanks
