Team,
Need a a technical support that says that the AP 2702 works fine with the power injector 5, eventhough in the datasheet the power injector recommended is the power injector 4. I have tested it, and works okey.
Thnks!

Hi,
As per datasheet:
There is mentioned PWRINJ=4,this Will give us 3x4 MIMO with three Spatial Streams Speed."While PWRINJ=5 can also support the Cisco Aironet Series 2700 Access Points when you don't want to use 802.11ac, it is recommended to use the AIR-PWRINJ4= power injector instead for the 2700 series, as it has sufficient power to supply to the AP and to use 802.11ac data rates.
AIR-PWRINJ5= The power injectors provide up to 15.4 W
So final conclusion is:
-------------------------
The answer is yes for power injector 4 (AIR-PWRINJ4=), you will get 3x4 with power injector 4. However you cannot get 3x4 with power injector 5 (AIR-PWRINJ5=), because power injector 5 is designed to provide 802.3af power only, you will only get 3x3 in this case

Thnks!
how is performance affected using either 3x3 or 3x4 MIMO?

Hi,
Please check this to understand the affect on performance due to MIMO capabilities.
