- @Rich R - All of that walk through the dark forests being well explained and the fact that the EWC solutions are being phased out I repeat my plea for @Kasper Elsborg to switchover to the 9800-CL platform for instance ,

- Factory reset the 9130 AP and try again,
M.

Hi Marc. It was initial resat by pressing mode button more than 30 sec, less than 60.
I can try again though

@Kasper Elsborg - Then I would suggest to try a lower EWC version like 17.12.x , because Cisco is abandoning support for EWC. In that context consider moving forward for instance with a 9800-CL (VM) deployment on which you can use up to 50 APs for free,
M.

- @Kasper Elsborg (From your earlier reply) : >....Checking image family...Image family not supported with C9800-AP
Are you sure you are using and or downloaded the correct C9800-AP-iosxe-wlc.bin (initial zip) for your
particular 9130 AP model ?

- @Kasper Elsborg You are only providing a SHA256 checksum but the cisco site only offers MD5 and SHA512
values. You can see them when hoovering over the zip file with the mouse. So you must compare
against those ; on Windows for instance you have
certutil -hashfile C9800-AP-universalk9.17.12.05.zip MD5
