Can anyone point me to an offical Cisco document that describes in detail the configuration that needs to be implemented on a 350 and 1100 access point to support the 7920. I am aware that the 7920 does not support all the security settings that the access point does. I need to maximize the security on all access points but still allow the 7920 to authenticate using LEAP and associate.

Hi,
The provided link was not very helpfull as you considere only the 7920 side wich is very restricted in configuration (wep128 enabled or not) as the 7920 phone does not provide any advanced security features.
I have experienced as the 7920 phone does not work with the ap 1121 if wep static wep128 is configured on each side.
Where is the issue on the AP ?? Is there any known compatibility pb when using wep security ?

Hi,
Setting up the AP for Voice and Data, with WEP on the voice SSID/VLAN is pretty straightforward.
Early firmware versions had issues with WEP and the SSID setting, so make sure you are using the 1.05 or better firmware. This makes the whole config very straightforward and reliable.

Firmware 01-06 is now available and LEAP works great as well as WEP.
Have Fun!
