we are running WLC version 5.2.193.0 with 20 APs. But one cannot registering to the controller

debug on the wlc

Unfortunatelly I don't have phyiscal access to this AP, so I can't "reconvert" it. Any other ideas?

Frank,

Looks like you have a bad AP as it is not detecting any installed radios:

*Jul 19 12:50:40.926: bsnInitRcbSlot: slot 0 has NO radio
*Jul 19 12:50:40.927: bsnInitRcbSlot: slot 1 has NO radio

This wil case the AP to not be able to join the WLC. I would look into getting it replaced.

This wil case the AP to not be able to join the WLC. I would look into getting it replaced.

Hi,

i have converted 1262 N from AP to LWAP mode.it is not joining to the controller.

i am using WISM with version 7.0.220.

have you added the mac address of the ap to te ap policies in the wlc?

Can you please post the following output:

1. WLC: sh sysinfo

2. AP: sh version

3. AP: sh inventory

Might be a bad image on the AP. Place the AP in the same subnet as the WLC management interface. If the AP doesn't join, the upload the lightweight image back into the AP. I'm assuming you have other APs already joined to this WLC? If not, make sure your time is set properly on the WLC also.
