AP1810W and 17.9.3

Hello,

I'll update c9800 from 17.3.6 to 17.9.3 because I heart, 1700/2700/3700 will be supported in this release too und have a hundred of this still running. But also about 20 of 1810w. In release notes of 17.9.3 I can not find anything of supporting 1810W. Should I change them?

Thanks for advice

Dietmar

My mistake. It has support in the IOS-XE up to the version 17.3.x. I was missing this information on the link I shared.

So, as you moved to 7.9.3 , now it will be out of the range.

Hi

It last supported version for this AP seems to be the 8.10.185.0.  They will not be supported on the 9800.

 You can check here

Hi,

thanks for your replay. 1810W are still running here with 17.3.6. May be, someone forgot to write it down into the release notes? But testing is not the option for me...

Here, in Table3

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/ewc/17-9/rel-notes/ewc-rn-17-9-x.html

it looks like 17.9.3 can run on/with 1810...

I found 1810W is often called 1810 OEAP or simply 1810.

Oh.

Thanks. Then I looks like I have to move to 9105 for these 1810 first.

Yeah it seems.
