Hi,
I am planning to assign vlan automatically based on active directory security group using ISE
ssid : abc
employees 10.0.5.0/24
managers 10.0.6.0/24
Do i need to create a vlan group on wlc for abc ?
Thanks

No VLAN groups needed for this. You only need VLAN groups if you're out of addresses in VLANx and have created VLANy with a new DHCP pool for the additional clients. Then you can add those two VLANx and VLANy networks into one VLAN group and assign it to the SSID (or radius/ISE policy).
