Best practice to power off cisco wireless controller 5520

Hi, what is the procedure to power off wireless controller 5520 appliance (aireos)? should issue the command to gracefully shutdown the unit or can directly power off the unit? Can anyone please advise? thanks in advance!

Save the config and use CIMC to power off the appliance.

Thanks @Leo Laohoo . We didn't config CIMC, what is the risk if directly power off it? will cause harddisk crash?

what is the reason of Power Off ? remove from network or Moving to different location ?

In this case if you do not have CIMC - there is no other option than pulling power. Lead 0r front panned there is Power Off button

make sure there is no backup process or any software upgrade taking place while doing ?

Cisco 5520 is built on UCS C220 M4 server.
