Dear All,
I need to know if C9115AXI-A access points can be used to implement BLE technology for smart phones, sensors and real time inventory. Apart from Cisco WLC and access points, what other network components and license(s) do I need to integrate to the wireless network to enable BLE? must I deploy Cisco Prime infrastructure and MSE-CMX on the network to get the BLE feature work.
I will appreciate your response and documentations.
Regards,
Ethelbert

Check out DNA Spaces with ACT licenses. You will need DNA space connector to be deployed as VM to integrate with your on-prem CMX.

Currently, PI is used as a "single source" for the maps.
CMX is used to determine or calculate the location.
DNA Spaces is then used to correlate all the data.
Talk to your Cisco AM/SE.

You require
1. DNA Spaces (with ACT license on AP)
2. DNA Centre sync with DNA Spaces for hierarchy (Prime may do it, better you get DNAC)
3. DNA Space connector (v2.3 or above) - CMX does not support it
4. 9800 WLC (with 17.3.3 or above) - AireOS based WLC will not support it
5. 9100 series AP for BLE Gateway functionality (to connect IoT BLE sensors)
Refer below for the deployment guide
