I have 2 LWAPP model 1042N AP's each of which are connected back to a WLC. For some reason, I have started testing DHCP on wireless clients for these AP's and controller, and in doing so, I am seeing the status lights change on the AP. The most frequent transition is from Green to Blue.
What does this mean?
Thank You
Kevin

I've not had any experience on the 1042's but for the 1132 and 1142 APs the blue light simply means that there is a device associated with the AP. Green means the AP is up and functional but no clients are attached.
Anyone else - please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

The blue light indicates a client has attached to the AP.

Hi, yes blue means that there is atleast 1 client associated, but remmber that if you have more then one ap on the same site ap selection or ap roaming is a client based decision and the client could move between the aps makeing the leds change on it.
