Boot problem with WLC 5508

Hi all,

We receive a new WLC 5508 from our head office.

When we start it, we see this message in the CLI

1. Run primary image (Image not found) - Active

2. Run backup image (Image not found)

How can we found the needed images to run the equipment.

Thanks.

If it's not finding the image, you could try to reboot and see if it comes up on a subsequent cycle.

if not, best bet is to RMA the device.

TAC can provide you with the image and the instructions on how to load it back on the WLC, or else, Steve is right.... RMA time!

Thanks,

Scott

yes, if you can find someone who knows where the three files are, and knows how to install them..

RMA is the better option, IMHO

That is true.... as long as you have smarnet and that your smartnet is 4 hours or NBD or else you will be waiting:)
