Hi
One of our clients has vessels that dock time to time near a office location, business wants a solution as where if a vessel docks they should be able to automatically connect to office network via the bridge network so the data capture and updates can be done.
I came up with a solution to install Cisco 1542I access points on the vessels and in the area of the dock(dock Aps will be the bridge between office to vessels). I did install point to point line of sight bridges before but of cause it wont work for this solution as the vessels park any where in the dock.
My question is: does these access points that has the bridge functionality enable cover a wide area and will the vessel still be stay connected if it moves around the dock where the will be multiple bridge APs that covers the dock(like group the bridge Aps)?
Thanks
Rayyaan
