bvi down... help

i already set an ip add, a subnet mask and a default gateway to the bvi1 interface... but it still 'down'... what is the problem? how shall i solve it?

What is the AP connected to (Maybe you need a crossover cable, or your cable is defective)?

Is the AP set for "AP Mode"? If it's set to be a repeater, that will drop the Fast Ethernet port (straight repeaters don't use the Ethernet).

Did you try doing a "no shut" on all of the included interfaces? If the fa0 or dot11radio interface is admin'd down, I think the BVI will also be down.

(as previously suggested) Posting the configs would be good if you can do it.
