Does anyone have any experience of changing the cellular modem card in a C819G? (Note this is similar to the unanswered ticket #12609736.)
We have a range of C819G-V-K9 and C819-4G-V-K9 units that are fitted with modems not compatible with UK cellular providers and would like to change their modems to Sierra MC7304 model (to essentially render a C819G-4G-GA-K9) or MC7455 model. We are expecting to have to update the modem card firmware and IOS however we would like to know whether this is possible before investing time and money in the process.
