C9800-40-K9 WLC

Good Day,

User connects to SSID "DATA" via a C9800-40-K9 when said user tries to connect to this WLC URL https://*IP* (to add Hotspot Guest Users) the browser (Chrome) the browser prompt "Site can't be reached" however we are able to ping the WLC.

When the user disconnects the SSID and uses a LAN Cable it works.

I am assuming there is a specific config need to allow access to the WLC via configured SSID

Check this is enabled in WLC

Configuration > Wireless > Wireless Global > enable Management via Wireless.

Never mind in the WLC GUI you tick in Configuration/Wireless/Wireless Global/ 

Then tick Manage via Wireless & apply
