C9800 HA License after failover

Hi All,

I wonder if anybody encounter the issue we have.

A pair of c9800-L-C in HA

Version: 16.12.3

We have 54 AP licenses.

I have both WLCs registerd in Smart Licensing. All good and licenses consumed. Both controllers are in the product licenses list.

When the failover happens - the active controller refuse to register automatically and stays in Eval mode.

But the commands doesn't work on 16.12.3.

Please share your experience if you had to deal with licensing on C9800 in HA.

Paul,

My suggestion is to look at the guide for your code and or open a TAC case. I’m running the latest 17 and had no issues.
