Can a Aironet 1310 be used as a bridge and accesspoint concurrently? Thanks in advance.

Short answer: Yes! In older IOS versions only a "root" bridge could act as an AP as well as a bridge but if you apply a newer IOS version both root and non-root bridges can act as AP's.

I have my root bridge configured and its working as a root bridge, but how do I make it also into a Access Point without losing the bridge part of it?

You can configure the bridge with command "station-role non-root wireless-clients".
I'm using 12.3(4)JA version and in my scenario, i have one root bridge and two non-root+wireless-clients. Unexpectly, i have the two non-root associated between themselves!! How can i avoid this?
Thanks
Nuno
